UPDATE:What a busy year for MTM Physiotherapy & their team of therapists.A Commonwealth Gold Medal, World Cup win & Champions Trophy win. We did not compete but definitely helped the team by maintaining them on the Pitch. Ellen Hawes is the Sports Physiotherapists for the all conquering “Kookaburras” , the Australian Men’s Hockey team. Together Ellen & Michael Wood provide Physiotherapy to the Australian Institute of Sport Men’s Hockey program at the Hockey stadium at Curtin University. Philippa Onley has been working with Women’s Perth Glory Team and they are on target for the Finals. She has been working hard to keep their player list in full training. Michael also continues to be one of Western Australian Institute of Sport Preferred Physiotherapists. Michael travelled to Jakarta at the invitation of the Indonesian Olympic Committee as one of three invited experts for an International Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Conference. All reports from the participants were very positive and they have indicated that they will invite him back again. |
